How my buzz for print started: Mid 2019 I hit a designers block. At the time I was volunteering designing for a local community centre and it wasn't creative enough for me. I thought to try a new area of design by trying out a local workshop in hopes it would spark interest.
Risograph printer workshop: This came first and I did it at Bread + Roses. I didn't know anything about the machine or halftone style but I was eager to learn. On the day I made a 2 colour print using images and was hooked with the halftone effect. From that I researched and came across zines. I had never made one before so I thought why not lets give it a go. It was one big experiment. This project made me fall in love with print.

Screen Printing Workshop: Following the success of one workshop, I wanted to keep the momentum going. Screen printing was the next thing to try. The workshop was at The Art House in Wakefield, a 5 week course trying new designs every week. It was fun but it is too long of a process for me.
